Mark Tombs - Director
Mark has over 12 years' experience in town planning, the first three of which were spent in local government development control dealing with a wide range of planning applications, appeal and enforcement matters. Following this, Mark spent four years at the forefront of the telecommunications network growth explosion, assisting the major network operators in achieving consent across the UK. He was retained, as an independent consultant, by the UK's largest network operator to monitor the quality of other planning consultants' submissions.
Mark has had substantial exposure to a wide range of planning matters, having now worked with the NTR Planning team for the last five years. This has involved assistance in securing permission for a holiday village in the green belt, securing permissions for the industrial clients and also achieving consents for a number of retailers for a wide range of consents including retail park extensions, mezzanine floors and certificates of lawfulness.
Mark plays an active role in Planning Aid and represented them in receiving the RTPI President's Special Award in 2010.
