Residential

Outline planning permission secured for Family Mosaic for up to 1,217 residential units, 940 sqm of retail/leisure/community uses and 2,880 sqm of employment use. The site is heavily constrained by continuing industrial uses to the west, a railway line to the north and the River Thames, which include a functioning pumping station to the south.

NTR Planning secured planning permission for a mix of 51 residential houses and flats in Tonbridge for Bellway. The site was surplus to K College’s requirements, released following an estate strategy and Masterplan scheme for which NTR Planning acted for K College.

Planning permission was granted at appeal for a highly innovative scheme for 9 residential dwellings within the green belt in Biggin Hill, Kent. A previously permitted scheme for 5 dwellings was economically unviable - a new and creative approach was required to unlock the development potential of the site by increasing the number of units. The larger scheme is a more sympathetic development representing a visual improvement over the permitted scheme, set into the hillside and incorporating green roofs and walls.

Planning permission won on appeal - Sevenoaks Council
refused permission for a residential led mixed use scheme including 39 one and
two bed flats and 4 retail (A1/A2) units. The scheme increased the amount of
development on site from that previously approved. Lengthy pre-application
negotiations were undertaken and although the scheme was recommended for
approval the recommendation was overturned by Planning Committee. This decision
was successfully challenged by NTR Planning on appeal.
